(6:30 PM | Activity Center)

You might first think that Lent is just about giving up junk food or vowing yet again to create healthy habits in your life. Yet our self-sacrifices serve no purpose unless, by laying aside our desires, we can focus on our heart’s deepest longing: unity with Christ. In him-- in His suffering and death, His resurrection and triumph, we find true peace, hope, and purpose in Jesus. Join us for an evening of prayer to discover a much deeper (and more powerful) purpose behind the weeks leading up to Easter.

March 6th // Ypsilanti Free Methodist Church

*April 3rd // Renovation Church (Portage)

May 1st // Dearborn Free Methodist Church

June 5th // Jackson Free Methodist Church

(6:00 - 7:30 PM)

When the Spirit of God is pourted out on a community, people far from Jesus respond and begin following. As we sense God's call to multipy disciples, leaders and churches in the Southern Michigan Conference, we must pray for His Spirit to be poured out in our region. On the first Friday of the month, March - June, travel with us to a Conference Awakening Prayer Night to seek the Holy Spirit for our region through prayer and worship. *We will likely skip this Prayer Night due to the distance from Chelsea.

Simply Prayer is a casual prayer gathering led by our Prayer Coordinator on Sunday mornings. Meet in the WSEC Lobby  at 9:00 am to participate.

The Prayer Group aims to teach and lead the church in both individual and corporate prayer. They do so in three ways:
